The client purchased this home with an unfinished Basement and ARI was contracted in advance of their move in to provide a finished family space.  This space included finished walls, floors and ceilings along with lighting design and a trim package to match the rest of the doors/frames in the home.

The previously finished area of this basement was converted by adding a new screenwall constructed of custom cherry wood panels.  Within this screenwall, speakers were recessed and covered by removable grilles.

A granite snack bar was added behind the tiered theatre seating to define the new use of space and to provide additional seating.  A new open faced equipment cabinet was added incorporating convenient access to the back of the components.  Four large columns balance the space, enhance acoustic quality, and provide a surface for indirect lighting. 

This Home Theatre area is complete with sound deadening insulation, custom equipment cabinet, and remote controlled lighting.
